Roasting coffee is relatively easy, and there are no reasons why you can’t do it in the luxury of your own home. It’s extremely simple to do. You can try using different kitchen appliances to roast your own coffee—an oven, a wok, a popcorn popper, a skillet—any of them will work. Nothing beats freshness. One can still drink and enjoy a cup of old, slightly stale coffee. Roasting your own coffee is something everyone can do, and something everyone should do. The reason majority of coffee drinkers have never thought about roasting their own coffee at home is because they have not yet tasted exceptionally fresh coffee, and have no idea what they’re missing out on.
